How We Make Money
CasinoAlpha operates as an affiliate marketing entity under Extremoo Marketing SRL. Extremoo’s company registration number is J23/6289/2017 with the VAT code RO38630895, under the Romanian economic legal framework. Our business model allows us to earn referral commissions from casino operators when you, the user, sign up through our links.
These commission amounts vary from one casino operator to the next, typically ranging from fixed Cost Per Acquisition CPA fees to Revenue Share percentages based on operator earnings.
There is no cost on your part! Our commissions come from the casino’s marketing budget, not your deposits or losses.
Our affiliate status is fully disclosed on every page containing casino links, as part of our commitment to transparency. You’ll find our disclosure messages before we present you with the promotional content, so you are informed before you start either browsing or playing.
How Do Affiliate Links Work?
When you click a casino link on CasinoAlpha, a precise technical process starts. A data file, commonly known as a “tracking cookie”, is placed in your browser, carrying a unique tracking ID. Besides this ID, a unique timestamp and referral source are also added to your browser.
Such tracking cookies remain active from 30 to 90 days in your browser, which is a standard period of time for online affiliate links. During this time, if you sign up as a new user via our link, the casino knows you came from our casino reviews, and your presence and plays are added to the amount that represents our commission total.
Commission totals only activate when you complete certain criteria, like making a casino payment above a required minimum, or you have completed placing a specific number of bets, wagering a specific amount of money.
All these moves do not bring you any additional cost, nor do they incur any extra fees to your casino spending. Casino costs remain identical whether you access directly or through our referral links.
What Does This Mean for You?
Our business model presents users with detailed and honest casino reviews. We create them by using the funds we receive from the casino operators with whom we have financial deals. All the content published on our site is free and fully accessible to you. In total, we have over 600 casino reviews, over 900 casino comparison or analysis articles, all created by our experts.
For us to continue to make our business sustainable, we rely on you, the user, and your trust. If we recommend poor casinos for commission gain, users leave, and revenue disappears. Thus, we look on making fair assessments and giving you honest casino recommendations. This has a dual effect, where we serve your interests as an online gambler and make our business viable.
Using our 47-factor methodology when making casino reviews, you can avoid the casinos we flag as problematic or unfair. This will always remain true, no matter the partnership status we have with that particular operator.
Our Editorial Independence
We strictly separate commercial partnerships from our editorial publications. Led by our CEO and Chief Editor, Tudor Turiceanu, we hold the final say in our casino ratings, casino reviews and any related content. The commercial team we have does not affect the conclusions that our casino review experts come up with.
We maintain documented proof of independence, including rejected partnership offers from operators failing quality standards despite offering substantial commission increases. We have published bad reviews of partners who have been paying significant amounts in our deals. We have also resisted the financial pressure to unorganically improve the scores that we give.
Every published casino undergoes our 47-factor evaluation covering security, payments, games, bonuses, support, and user experience. This methodology has also been applied uniformly. The team of reviewers is not aware of the exact sums of the commissions we receive, minimizing bias.
Commissions Received Do NOT Influence Our Ratings
There is no rule that governs our work more than objectivity. We have listed some of our best-rated casinos, with which we have no financial deal. On the other side, we have partners that are rated below-average, which pay us well. These facts prove that the financial side does not affect our editorial choices.
All casino reviews are created by 2 members of our team and vetted by our CEO. In this process, we look to see if the ratings correctly match the documentation we created when we tested the casinos with a normal player account. Thus, the tests we completed are above the financial incentive we receive, and the editorial conclusions are more important than any revenue change.
We have had instances where casino operators have proposed premium commissions in exchange for higher ratings and general positive coverage, but we have rejected any proposal that goes against editorial guidelines.
Our Relationship with Casino Operators
We can and have partnered with casino brands using affiliate referrals. However, these brands and these partnerships have no influence over our final ratings, casino reviews, rank placements or preferential positions on the sites. Such elements cannot be bought. A casino partner cannot buy the privilege of our not making any negative remarks in our texts.
If a casino brand fails to pass our quality checks or engages in predatory practices aimed at you, the user, we terminate the partnership and modify our site’s content accordingly.
What We DON'T Do
Here is a set of prohibited activities at CasinoAlpha:
- The placement of casino brands on our site is not bought. Our methodology decides that, not our payment.
- Positive comments and/or ratings cannot be bought, either.
- If the commission increases but the service stays the same for you, the player, our rating will not increase. Financial gain does not change our ratings. Neither does loss.
- We always disclose the financial deals we have, and we will never hide that from you.
- We use the same testing methodology for casinos that are our partners and for casinos that have no partnership or relationship to us.
- If we have a negative review or conclusion about a casino brand, we will always publish it until we have seen that they have fixed the issue we uncovered.
These rules are enforced when content is created and when the editorial team oversees the content creation through peer reviewing the documentation and the final cut of our texts. No exception can violate these principles.
Does Our Independence Benefit You?
We will always highlight problematic behaviour of casinos, so you will be warned ahead of time if something is not up to standard. This includes payment delays, unfair bonus requirements, subpar customer service, and, even more seriously, issues with licensing or legal framework obedience. If we give you all this data, you can protect yourself.
When we recommend or publish a casino rating or review, your safety as a player is our paramount priority. This is why, when you see top ratings, that means that the casino delivers a good performance, not that it pays us well.
We have been working and building this system over the years, across multiple markets, in the hopes of establishing credibility between you, the player, and us, the casino experts. Taking the long-term route has proven to be successful and has led us to have a direct communication line with you, which we don’t want to lose. If we steer you wrong, you stop trusting us, and our business fails.
How Do We Maintain Regulatory Compliance
CasinAlpha follows the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and requirements regarding affiliate partnerships disclosure in the US. This includes conspicuous disclosure placement and clear communication in writing about our advertising and our partners.
CasinoAlpha follows the best practices of the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), in the same vein as the EU consumer protection rights, along with the same advertising standards in the markets we are present in, from Ireland, New Zealand, Japan and Latin American countries.
For specific online casino markets, like Ontario, Canada, for example, we only disclose reviews of casinos that follow iGaming Ontario and AGCO requirements.

Popular Topics
F.A.Q.
Do I pay extra when using your affiliate links?
No. The casino play costs, through deposits, bonuses or other stakes, have the same cost from our affiliate links or any other avenue in which you can find them. Our commission comes from the casino’s budget, not your payments or losses.
Why should I trust reviews from an affiliate site?
We create the reviews based on a proprietary review system, not from our financial deals or gains. We prefer a long-term trust to any short-term benefit. We refuse to work with casinos that do not follow our system and business model.
Do you review casinos you don't partner with?
Yes. The majority of the casinos posted on CasinoAlpha are not our partners, but rather popular casino brands that we know might interest you. Some of them are even in the highest-rated categories, so our deal does affect their status and ratings.
Can casinos pay for better ratings?
No, never. CasinoAlpha’s editorial policies do not permit that. We’ve rejected such offers and maintain documented proof of independence.
How can I verify your independence?
Compare our ratings across partner and non-partner casinos.
Check our reviews of paying partners and see that we have flagged their problematic practices. Read our Editorial Policy page for detailed methodology.
What if I have concerns about a partnership?
Contact Us with the subject “Partnership Concern.” We investigate all inquiries about potential conflicts of interest.
Do all casino links earn you commissions?
Some of them do, yes. We disclose affiliate status on all pages with casino links, treating all operators equally regardless of partnership terms.
Can I support your site without using affiliate links?
Our business model relies on affiliate commissions. Using our links when you’ve found our content helpful supports our work while costing you nothing extra.
